CAOM Conference Agenda
This year the Canadian Association of Orthopaedic Medicine (CAOM) Conference celebrates its 40th year at the Yorkville Royal Sonesta Hotel in Toronto on September 17-19, 2026.

We have an exciting program including team physicians for the Oakland Athletics baseball team, Detroit professional sports teams, and the US National Ballet; and the most recent president of the Canadian Pain Society.
Pre-conference workshops offer hands-on learning opportunities for bedside musculoskeletal ultrasound training, prolotherapy, perineurial injection treatment, and ultrasound guided nerve hydro-dissection. The plenary and breakout sessions present a broad spectrum of topics from the approach to back pain and whiplash; to the controversy around peptides and red-light therapy; to communication strategies to stay out of the trouble with the College.
The conference will be especially beneficial to physicians who use interventional modalities, and is open to all physicians and allied health providers with an interest in the treatment of chronic pain.

Palpation Guided Prolotherapy for Common Peripheral and SI Joint Injuries

Ultrasound-guided Nerve Blocks and Hydrodissection Beginner Course - Level 1

Ultrasound-guided Nerve Blocks and Hydrodissection Advanced Course - Level 2
Register NowThis advanced workshop offers hands-on training for experienced practitioners in identifying nerves via sonography and mastering specific ultrasound scanning techniques. Participants will learn to evaluate clinical presentations to effectively diagnose and treat targeted nerve entrapments using nerve blocks and hydrodissection.
Accreditation
The Division of Continuing Professional Development, University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine (UBC CPD) is fully accredited by the Continuing Medical Education Accreditation Committee (CACME) to provide CPD credits for physicians. This activity is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by UBC CPD. You may claim a maximum of 21.5 hours (credits are automatically calculated). Each physician should claim only those credits accrued through participation in the activity.
This activity has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Ontario Chapter for up to 22.5 Mainpro+® Certified Activity credits.

What does my registration to the CAOM Conference include?
Your registration includes all of the plenaries, breakout sessions, conference meals and activities on Friday and Saturday, including our celebratory dinner on Saturday evening. Please feel free to purchase a ticket for your guest to attend the dinner as well. A cash bar will be available.
You will be on your own to explore nearby restaurants and enjoy your time in Toronto on Friday evening.
Conference registrations must be purchased in advance and will not be accepted onsite.
We are offering varying ticket types for members, non members, medical learners/residents, and one day tickets. If you are not a CAOM Member, now is your chance to become one and take advantage of all the benefits it offers.
Are preconference workshops included with a conference ticket?
Tickets to workshops are not included in your conference registration but can be purchased along with your conference tickets.
