Regenerative Musculoskeletal Injection Workshop
Annual prolotherapy training held every April in Calgary's world-class cadaver lab.

Training Canadian Physicians in Standardized Prolotherapy Injection Techniques.
HELD IN A WORLD-CLASS CADAVER LAB, ANNUALLY IN APRIL.
Advocating for the use of ultrasound guidance for all axial/spinal injections, and optional ultrasound use for peripheral injections. This is not an ultrasound training event, but also an opportunity to improve ultrasound skills in the lab while learning novel injection techniques.
This education applies equally to prolotherapy, platelet-rich plasma or any other MSK injections. While our mandate is chiefly to Canadian physicians, 10% of participants can be NDs or NPs.
What's Involved
Mini Lectures
A half day of demonstrations and practice of accurate palpation and marking skills.
The Anatomy Lab
One and a half days are then spent in the anatomy lab, where instructors directly lead small groups of participants in the practice of injecting cadavers with and without ultrasound.
The course includes mini-lectures on anatomy, palpation-based diagnostic skills, and supervised injections in the anatomy lab, focusing on MSK and spine, using ultrasound guidance. This workshop is equally relevant to prolotherapy, platelet-rich plasma or any other MSK injections.
